PACT Psychiatrist
Schedule: Mon-Tue, Thu 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, Fri on-call
Salary: $142.38 hourly
Join our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults living with severe and persistent mental illness. We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative Psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatric care as part of a multidisciplinary, community-based treatment team.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and ongoing medication management.
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary PACT team.
- Deliver individual, family, and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Consult with nurses, therapists, primary care providers, and community partners to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and treatment planning.
- Support hospital admissions, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
- Provide clinical leadership, education, and guidance to PACT team members.
- Complete timely documentation and participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.
- Conduct community-based visits approximately one day per week.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active Massachusetts medical license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration.
- Experience treating adults with serious and persistent mental illness preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.
