Paragon Prime is expanding our team in Sylvania and is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to represent Just Energy inside established retail locations. This Retail Sales Associate opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment, likes interacting with customers, and wants to build practical experience while introducing products and services through engaging, personalized conversations.
As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll work alongside an experienced team to demonstrate available services, answer questions from customers, and help people explore options that fit their everyday needs. Every Retail Sales Associate contributes to a welcoming retail environment while developing transferable communication, presentation, and professional sales skills that support long-term career growth.
Responsibilities of the Retail Sales Associate
- Welcome customers into the retail space and introduce available products and services through informative, 1:1 conversations.
- Demonstrate current offerings, explain available programs, and help customers compare options based on their individual interests.
- Assist interested customers with enrollment by ensuring information is completed accurately and every step is easy to understand.
- Support daily retail initiatives by maintaining product displays, promotional materials, and organized presentation areas.
- Share updates on customer feedback, common questions, and product interest to help strengthen future retail sales strategies.
- Participate in product launches, promotional campaigns, and retail events while continuing to develop professional sales knowledge.
- Stay current on product updates, retail promotions, and new offerings so customers receive accurate, up-to-date information.
- Continue expanding your communication abilities, retail experience, and professional sales skills while growing as a Retail Sales Associate.
Qualifications of the Retail Sales Associate
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, restaurants, customer service, or another people-focused environment is helpful but not required.
- Enjoys explaining information clearly and helping customers make informed decisions.
- Able to stay organized while balancing multiple priorities in a busy retail setting.
- Interested in learning about retail operations, product presentations, and professional sales.
- Takes initiative, follows through on responsibilities, and contributes positively to a collaborative team.
- Comfortable learning new products and presenting information in an approachable, conversational manner.
- Reliable transportation to the Sylvania office and assigned retail locations.
- Excited to continue developing as a Retail Sales Associate while contributing to daily sales goals and delivering a great experience for customers.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
