As a Lead Automotive Technician specializing in light and medium-duty fleet vehicles, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety, satisfaction, and excellence of our fleet maintenance services.

What the Lead Automotive Technician role looks like:
- Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a Tablet/Cellphone
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light and medium duty vehicles
- Diagnose and Repair gas and MD Diesel Vehicles.
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance & Repairs.
- Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicles
- Maintain general upkeep and maintenance of Mobile Service Truck
- Respond to off-site client requests as needed
- Interact with clients through both email and phone as necessary
- Perform other duties as required
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- At least 5 years experience performing vehicle maintenance & Repairs.
- Must have valid CA Driver’s License
- Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Fleet Management Systems, and Emails
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
- Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
- Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
- Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
- Ability to move and position heavy objects
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
