Location:
The Maintenance Technician role is responsible for all aspects of the property maintenance and upkeep while working under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the daily maintaining of the property grounds as well as the daily repair and upkeep of the property
· Ensure the proper turn over of vacant units and make-readies for occupancy
· Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or management company.
· Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
· Ensure the proper cleaning of work areas, tools and equipment
· Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
· Be available to work on an on-call basis
· Maintain the required property uniform and insuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times
· Able to perform duties of the job while standing, walking, and/or sitting for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and crawl in confined areas
· Able to push, pull, lift, carry and maneuver weights of up to thirty (30) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
· Other tasks as assigned and needed
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· One to two years of maintenance experience required
· HVAC Certification strongly preferred
· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Strong oral and written communication skills
