- Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Supervise administrative staff and dental team members to maintain high performance standards.
- Coordinate patient treatment plans by explaining procedures, scheduling appointments, and ensuring understanding of financial responsibilities.
- Manage medical records, electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks, and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
- Handle billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and manage practice finances including budgeting and fiscal management.
- Support human resources functions such as staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Utilize dental practice management software like Eaglesoft or Dentrix to streamline operations and improve patient flow.
- Ensure clinic compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
- Facilitate communication between patients, insurance providers, and healthcare teams to optimize care delivery.

- Proven experience in medical office management within a dental or healthcare setting; minimum of several years preferred.
- Strong supervisory background overseeing administrative or clinical staff in busy clinics or hospitals.
- Extensive knowledge of dental office procedures, billing practices, and medical administrative support functions.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or eClinicalWorks is essential.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO accreditation standards.
- Experience managing budgets, financial management tasks including budgeting and fiscal oversight.
- Background in medical terminology, medical records management, and acute care or hospital experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining excellent patient service standards in a fast-paced environment.
