Job Overview
We’re looking for a highly organized Prep / Line Cook to join our kitchen team at our Crocker Art Museum location! We’re looking for someone who brings passion, reliability, and a genuine love of food to a position with strong potential for growth and leadership.
This role combines daily food prep, line cooking, kitchen organization, food safety, and hospitality. You’ll help prepare food for our café and catering program, work the line during busy lunch service, and help us continue developing our kitchen systems and menu.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow quickly into a Kitchen Lead role, taking on additional responsibility for kitchen operations, menu development, training, ordering, and production. We want to give you the opportunity to prove yourself, learn our operation, and earn additional responsibility as you grow.
We’re looking for someone proactive in the kitchen—someone who notices what needs to be done, keeps things organized, and can solve problems without needing constant direction. Extreme organization and attention to detail are an absolute must. We value people who notice gaps, step in confidently, and help move the business forward.
