Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance tasks, including electrical work and fabrication. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and functional. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for a variety of tasks that require both technical expertise and a commitment to customer service.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations, utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Oversee and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetics.
- Fabricate components or parts required for repairs or improvements.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance role with a focus on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read technical drawings is essential.
- Experience in supervising projects or teams is a plus, showcasing leadership abilities.
- Strong service skills to effectively communicate and address their needs.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in residential painting or fabrication will be considered an asset.
