This is a hands-on position that combines inspection, metrology, print review, process improvement, customer requirements, and shop-floor support.

What You'll Do
As our Quality Techician/Inspector you'll help ensure products meet customer requirements from quote to shipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Create ballooned drawings and inspection plans
- Convert customer PDF drawings into 2D manufacturing prints and 3D models
- Develop and maintain part models for use with the Verisurf Measurement Arm
- Perform dimensional inspections using Verisurf and other precision measuring equipment
- Conduct C=0 inspections and verify compliance to customer requirements
- Complete QCS16 and related quality documentation
- Compile, review, and organize quality records for First Article Inspection (FAI) packages
- Perform shop floor quality audits, including verification of dimensions, materials, processes, and workmanship
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing travelers and inspection processes
- Train production personnel on:
- Proper use of calipers and measuring tools
- Basic GD&T interpretation
- Traveler usage and documentation requirements
- Support estimating and quoting activities through print reviews and material sourcing
- Maintain calibration and certification records for inspection and measurement equipment
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization
What We're Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, welding, or quality inspection
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Understanding of dimensional inspection and measurement techniques
- Familiarity with GD&T principles
- Experience with CAD software, 3D modeling, or print creation preferred
- Experience with Verisurf, Faro Arm, CMM, or similar metrology equipment is highly desirable
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and production personnel
- Self-motivated with a desire to improve processes and drive quality
Bonus Points For
- Welding or fabrication industry experience
- AS9100, ISO 9001, or aerospace quality experience
- First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
- Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or Quality Engineer background
- CAD modeling experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility
- Ability to perform hands-on inspections using precision measuring equipment
