We are looking for a full-time assistant preschool teacher to join our team at Children's Academy of Loveland! CAL is a privately owned daycare and preschool center that supports the growth of our students and teachers alike. You will help teach them important communication skills that they will use in daily life. An early childhood educator must have a great love and patience for children. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education. Assistant Teachers do not need to have any prior classroom experience.
Responsibilities
- Help the Lead Teacher execute a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other and problem-solve
- Aid during nap, feeding, and toileting and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Take pictures, track children’s progress and report to parents through our mobile app
- Communicate with parents regularly
- Collaborate with other teachers at CAL
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
