We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility team. This role is vital in ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of our production equipment and facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, with experience in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and troubleshooting complex machinery. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and analysis skills; utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters.
- Repair or replace faulty components in electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HVAC/R systems, and other machinery.
- Conduct welding tasks using welding techniques to repair or fabricate parts as needed.
- Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Assist with electrical diagnostics involving high voltage and low voltage systems; interpret schematics for troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
- Support engineering troubleshooting efforts by analyzing system failures and recommending improvements.
- Perform calibration and use of precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery operates within specifications.
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime while ensuring safety compliance during maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS software for work order management.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial mechanics.
- Skilled in reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting documentation.
- Experience operating scissor lifts and other field service equipment safely.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, welding techniques ( welding preferred), and high voltage electrical systems.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems used in manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation; capable of handling multiple priorities effectively.
