American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Houston, TX, requiring ED or ICU experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Interventional Radiology (IR) unit within a hospital setting

Day shift schedule: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
-
13-week contract
-
Procedures performed include biopsy, ablations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis

EMR: Meditech Expanse

Active TX or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date)

Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in the specialty

ED or ICU experience required — candidates without this background will not be considered

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Royal blue scrubs required

A self-starter and take-initiative personality is the ideal fit for this unit

Currently a small unit with 1 nurse on staff
