Responsibilities
- Be a working supervisor and coordinate all cleaning activities, including office deep cleans, pressure washing, window cleaning, and parking lot/parking garage maintenance to ensure pristine outdoor and indoor spaces.
- Oversee cleaning projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Manage the scheduling, making sure to provide more staff on busier days and less staff on slower days.
- Manage all communication with the team, the client, and the ops manager for Del Sol.
- Enforcement of scope of work check and balance, providing clear communication on a daily basis that the work is complete and accurate. No space is left undone or incomplete thanks to your remarkable leadership.
- Lead and motivate a team of custodial technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to foster growth and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations across all job sites.
- Conduct constant site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and safety practices.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations for ongoing maintenance or enhancements.
- Uphold Del Sol standards with all team members, LEADING BY EXAMPLE AND LIVING ABOVE REPROACH.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outdoor custodial operations with quality supervising experience.
- Strong knowledge of floor care, machine repair/maintenance, carpet care, cleaning techniques, and general cleaning principles.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Familiarity with small engine repair/maintenance is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and team leadership.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment when necessary.
