We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Meet with patients to gather preliminary information for appointments (Patient medical history, medications, obtain blood pressure, perform EKG's, etc.).
- Provide assistance and support to providers with patient exams and procedures.
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner.
- Assist with medication refills.
- Escort patients to and from exam rooms.
Qualifications:
- CMA - Certified Medical Assistant certification required
- Previous experience working as a medical assistant; cardiology experience preferred
- Familiarity with cardiac medication a plus
- Strong communication ability and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
