Food Server Hourly: $11.00/Hour, Plus Tips Location: Resort Reports to: Food and Beverage Shift Supervisor

Summary
As a Food Server, you are instrumental in providing exceptional customer service to the guests. This service would include taking and filling food and drink orders, providing refills, answering questions, delivering food in a timely manner, bussing tables, etc. We seek a dependable individual with a strong work ethic and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Uphold superior standards of customer service.
- Maintain punctual and dependable attendance.
- Wear an approved departmental uniform consistently.
- Must have the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- A minimum of six (6) months’ restaurant experience is preferred.
- Must have basic math skills including subtraction and addition.
- Must possess the ability to be mobile 100% of the shift, including maneuvering through crowded areas.
- Adhere strictly to all established rules, regulations, and policies.
- Always Comply with the Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Education
- Must undergo a comprehensive court records search/background review.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and health screening.
- Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with individuals of diverse personalities.
- Demonstrated positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
- A willingness to pursue self-development and adapt to evolving circumstances.
- Attending all relevant training sessions as required.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a satisfactory working record.
- Eligibility for coverage under employer’s liability insurance.
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred. High School Diploma or GED is required if you are 19 years old and under.
- Courteous and friendly demeanor.
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- A minimum of six (6) months’ restaurant experience is preferred.
- Must possess basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Capacity to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
Work Conditions
- Continuous hand movements and use of finger dexterity.
- Standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and bending as part of daily tasks.
- Occasionally climbing stairs/ladders and lifting objects weighing up to forty (40) pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Maintenance of excellent personal hygiene due to proximity to others.
- Moderate to higher noise level and exposure to cigarette smoke/dust in the casino environment.
- Smoke-free work environment with varying dust and noise levels as per location within the establishment.
