Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong knowledge of beverages and food service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our guests, mixing and serving drinks, and ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced nightlife setting and enjoys working in the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
- Take drink orders from patrons and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Operate the Versi POS system to process orders accurately.
- Operate the Lottery validation and poker payout system.
- Handle cash register transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, helping them feel comfortable and valued.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bartending role within a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices in the food industry.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Aloha POS experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
