Responsibilities

- Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations using our medical office software
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing information or directing inquiries to appropriate staff members
- Verify patient insurance details and process billing or co-payments with precision
- Maintain organized patient records, update medical histories, and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, and filing medical documents
- Support the clinical team by preparing exam rooms and managing supply inventories as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and staff
- Proven ability to provide excellent administrative support within a busy office setting
- Familiarity with office equipment, including phones, computers, and electronic health record systems
- Experience in dental office settings is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
