Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paver/Marble/Travertine/Porcelain Deck Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable and aesthetically pleasing paver/marble/travertine/porcelain decks, ensuring they meet quality standards and project specifications. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into functional, beautiful environments that clients will enjoy for years to come. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute paver deck installations.
- Prepare the site by clearing, leveling, and setting forms using concrete forming techniques and masonry scaffold building.
- Install rebar reinforcement and ensure proper placement for stability and durability of the deck structure.
- Lay pavers with precision, employing stone masonry, bricklaying, and tile laying techniques to achieve desired patterns and finishes.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, sealing joints, and caulking to ensure a flawless surface.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for cutting, lifting, and positioning materials.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all phases of construction, including working at heights with scaffolding or roofing elements when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete masonry, hardscape installation, or related construction fields with a focus on paver decks or outdoor surfaces.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and schematic specifications.
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering, mortar work, and stone masonry techniques.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and building material installation methods such as trim carpentry or metal stud framing.
- Ability to interpret construction plans accurately and follow detailed schematics for precise execution.
- Experience with renovation projects or restoration work is a plus.
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence on busy construction sites.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
