State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of a master's degree in a mental health related field and eligible for licensure to practice as an LPC-I/A, LMSW, LMFTA, LPC, LISW, LMFT or LPCS with professional experience in a mental health, human service or social service program.
Must successfully obtain license within 12 months of hire to sustain employment.
OR
A minimum of a master’s degree in a mental health related field and a license to practice as an LPC-I/A, LMSW, LMFTA, LPC, LISW, LMFT, or LPCS with professional experience.
