Purpose
As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll create a welcoming experience by scheduling appointments, answering questions, assisting providers, and delivering outstanding customer service while supporting the daily operations of our medical office.
Responsibilities

Greet patients and serve as the receptionist in accordance with appointment and patient record policies.

Schedule appointments and accurately answer and route telephone calls.

Maintain patient records in accordance with established medical records policies.

Process patient payments and perform other clerical duties, including billing, filing, typing, and data entry.

Assist patients with completing required forms and documentation.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Location: Newport, TN
Work Setting: In person
Relocation: Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate before starting work.
Requirements:
Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
License
Qualifications

Ability to quickly learn office procedures and workflows.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and maintain accurate financial records.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong professional customer service skills.

Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.

Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software applications.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
