Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client looks.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following industry regulations.
- Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and skincare products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques and providing guidance on customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license in accordance with state or local regulations.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of hair styling, coloring, and grooming skills.
- Expertise in hair care treatments including hair coloring, hair extensions, and styling techniques.
- Proficiency in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Strong communication skills for effective client consultation and retail upselling.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
