Job Summary
Seeking a high-performing Automotive Sales Manager with a strong Finance & Insurance (F&I) background. This role requires a leader who can not only drive sales performance but also expertly structure deals, maximize backend profitability, and work closely with lenders to secure approvals.
The ideal candidate has proven success in both sales management and F&I, with the ability to step into deals, close effectively, and ensure every opportunity is maximized.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Desk and structure deals with a strong focus on frontend and backend gross
- Utilize F&I expertise to maximize product penetration and profitability
- Work directly with banks and lenders to secure approvals and funding
- Turn deals and assist in closing to improve overall dealership performance
- Ensure compliance with all lending and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the full sales process from lead to delivery
- Provide ongoing coaching on deal structure, product presentation, and closing techniques
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of automotive sales management and F&I experience (REQUIRED)
- Proven success in automotive F&I, including deal structuring, lender relationships, and product sales
- Strong understanding of compliance, funding, and deal flow
- Demonstrated ability to maximize both front-end and back-end gross profit
- Excellent leadership, communication, and closing skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment
- Experience with dealership management systems and CRM tools
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
