Overview
We are looking for a Retail & Operations Associate to join our growing artisan chocolate company. This is a hands-on entry position for someone who enjoys working with customers, selling premium products, keeping a retail environment organized, and making sure daily operations run smoothly. We're looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, organized, sales-minded, and comfortable taking ownership. Must have dependable transportation.
Position Overview:
- Maintaining store chocolate rotation, cleanliness and inventory front & back of house.
- Fulfilling online orders and shipping them out.
- Must know how to hand tie ribbons for luxury packaging.
- Collaborate with team members using strong communication skills to ensure smooth store operations.
- Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
Experience
- Retail, hospitality, food service, specialty food, or luxury retail experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently
- Basic computer and POS skills
- Ability to lift boxes/product and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Must be available for some weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
