About the Hiring Process
To ensure a great fit, all applicants will first complete a brief screening call. Candidates who advance will be invited to participate in a second in-store interview. This will be a fantastic opportunity to meet the team, learn more about the role, and showcase your skills.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers, prepare orders, and process transactions accurately.
- Educate guests on cannabis strains, effects, and consumption methods.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and local/state regulations.
- Use suggestive selling to meet sales and team basket goals.
- Maintain confidentiality of all customer information.
- Assist customers in person, by phone, and online with product and regulation inquiries.
- Perform opening/closing duties and complete side work such as stocking, dusting, and merchandising.
- Keep work areas organized and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Assist delivery customer inquiries when needed.
- Participate in daily inventory counts and follow all security best practices.
- Use company platforms including POS, Microsoft Teams, Weedmaps, and delivery systems.
- Support marketing, outreach, and merchandising during downtime.
- Maintain a positive, respectful work environment and represent our brand professionally.
What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 21 years of age (state cannabis requirement).
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years in customer service, sales, or related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of—or a strong interest in—cannabis products, effects, and methods of use.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Teams, Office 365).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of customers.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Weekend availability required.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods and walk short distances.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, reach, and use step stools/ladders as needed.
