A well-established school in NSB is seeking a full time teacher. Pay is based on your credentials and experience with benefits offered (paid holidays, paid personal days, pension plan after 1 year of employment). We are seeking an experienced, reliable, dedicated teacher. Must be able to nurture and develop the curious, enthusiastic learner inside each child. We use a curriculum that offers age appropriate activities that stimulate young minds while they develop academic/ social/ emotional skills. We welcome God into our hearts daily and place a significant emphasis on Christian values. Enthusiasm and dedication to a quality environment is a must. We are most interested in talking to applicants that have:
A High School diploma or equivalent
1 year minimum experience working in a licensed childcare facility with references
Obtain a clear DCF Live scan Level 2 Background Check
Have DCF 45 hours & have or be willing to obtain Trauma Informed Care class & Florida Competencies for Early Childhood Educators class
Up to date Staff Credential / or willing to obtain
CPR, First Aid, & fire extinguisher certified/ or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment
Responsibilities include but not limited to planning and implementing activities that foster academic growth while having hands on, creative fun! Classroom management skills; while maintaining a safe, clean, age appropriate environment are a must. Applicant must be a flexible and dependable team player, with a positive attitude.
