Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, logistics coordination, and team leadership. This pivotal role requires a strategic mindset to optimize processes, maintain safety standards, and support the company’s distribution objectives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive warehouse experience, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a productive team environment.
- Oversee inventory management processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Coordinate logistics activities for warehouse distribution, including scheduling shipments and optimizing storage space.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and cost-effectiveness across all warehouse functions.
- Operate or oversee the operation of forklifts and other mechanical equipment for heavy lifting and materials handling tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to OSHA standards and 3PL (third-party logistics) providers.
- Collaborate with shipping & receiving teams to streamline workflows and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, shipping documentation, and warehouse activities for audit readiness.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse processes related to e-commerce fulfillment and logistics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager with a strong background in warehouse operations.
- Extensive knowledge of inventory management, inventory control techniques, and warehouse distribution practices.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts and mechanical equipment used in materials handling.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Experience working within e-commerce environments or 3PL logistics providers is desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving documentation.

Pay: $52,125.59 - $62,774.91 per year
