About the Opportunity
Elevate Hospitality Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Line Cooks and Lead Line Cooks for a high-volume fine dining restaurant group in Chicago, Illinois.
We are looking for dependable kitchen professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments, take pride in consistency and execution, and are committed to maintaining high culinary standards during service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned stations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures
- Execute service efficiently during high-volume periods
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with prep work, station setup, and kitchen organization
- Lead Line Cook candidates may be responsible for supporting station leadership, guiding cooks during service, and ensuring consistent execution at their station
Qualifications
- Previous line cook experience required
- Experience as a lead line cook or strong readiness to step into a lead role preferred (for Lead Line Cook applicants)
- High-volume and/or fine dining experience strongly preferred
- Experience working grill, sauté, pantry, or multiple stations preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction
