We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Car Wash Attendant to join our team! If you enjoy working outdoors, interacting with customers, and taking pride in delivering exceptional service, we'd love to meet you.
As a Car Wash Attendant, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, helping create an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive. You'll greet customers, guide vehicles into the wash, assist with our Point-of-Sale (POS) system, promote unlimited wash memberships, and ensure our facility remains clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
This is a fast-paced position that requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system to process vehicle washes, memberships, and payments.
- Educate customers on wash packages and actively promote Unlimited Wash Memberships.
- Earn commission on every membership sold, with unlimited earning potential.
- Safely guide vehicles into the wash tunnel following company safety procedures.
- Assist customers with questions and recommend services based on their needs.
- Perform light pre-wash preparation when necessary.
- Monitor car wash equipment and immediately report any maintenance concerns.
- Keep vacuums, payment kiosks, wash tunnel, and surrounding property clean and presentable.
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, window cleaning, and general facility upkeep.
- Restock cleaning supplies and other customer amenities.
- Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, retail, cashier, or car wash experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience operating a POS system or cash register is a plus.
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and payment systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales experience is a plus; confidence recommending memberships and promotions is highly valued.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions for short periods while greeting customers and loading vehicles into the wash.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Must be able to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
