Northwest Medical Massage is a growing medical massage provider in Tucson. It has 5 treatment spaces and a classroom where yoga and continuing education classes are taught weekly.

Four Part Time Positions. This is a shift rent position. The successful candidate will receive/process all payments from clients, provide their own sheets and supplies, choose their shifts and charge their own rates. Daily shift rent is collected via credit card at the end of each shift. An interview and paid practical are required!
Active Arizona Massage License and Professional Insurance Required.
Shift 1 - 9 am to 2:00 pm
Shift 2 - 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm
It is preferred the successful candidate performs medical massage.
It is encouraged that the successful candidate document performed treatment.
The successful candidate should be able to assess and develop a treatment plan and session approach on the fly based on intake form information and interview with client.
The successful candidate should have ability to discern client comfort during a session and make adjustments.
The successful candidate should be able to judge the best physical approach (modality(ies), tools, etc) to treat client issues.
The successful candidate should be will be communicate clearly and establish rapport with client.
The successful candidate should be willing to continue post treatment communication to determine the client's response to treatment.
The successful candidate should evaluate and develop needed treatment plan changes based on feedback.
It is preferred, the successful candidate will have mat based experience or a willingness to learn.
The successful candidate should be willing to learn new approaches, eager to grow as a therapist and work collaboratively with the team.
The successful candidate should conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques.
The successful candidate should utilize in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments to individual needs
The successful candidate should be able to provide exceptional patient service and care throughout each session.
The successful candidate should be able to perform various massage techniques including trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage. Other modalities are encouraged.
The successful candidate should be about to assist in acute pain management and occupational health programs.
The successful candidate should be able to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
It is encouraged that the successful candidate maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
