Field Service Engineer – Siemens PLC / Automation / Packaging Equipment/ Travel
Location: Nationwide (U.S.-based)
Pay: $35–45/hr + OT
Schedule: Full-time | 80–90% travel
Our client provides advanced automation and packaging solutions to global manufacturing companies, combining cutting-edge technology with hands-on engineering support in the field.
They are looking for you, a highly technical Field Service Engineer with hands-on PLC programming experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly on complex automated equipment in fast-paced production environments.
What you get to do:
- Program and modify Siemens PLCs (S7 / TIA Portal required)
- Troubleshoot automation systems and high-speed production equipment
- Support installation, commissioning, and system optimization
- Work directly with customers to resolve complex technical issues
- Travel extensively to support projects across the U.S. and internationally
What you need to succeed:
- 3+ years of hands-on PLC programming– not just troubleshooting
- Experience with industrial automation or packaging equipment
- Strong mechanical + electrical troubleshooting skills
- Stable career progression (no short-term roles)
- Ability to travel 80–90% consistently
- Strong communication skills (client-facing role)
- TN Visa candidates eligible (no other sponsorship available)
