Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Ketamine Infusion Program. This role is a hybrid clinical and front desk support position. The LPN will play a vital role in direct patient care during ketamine infusions while also assisting with clinic operations, scheduling, and patient flow. Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with IV ketamine infusion setup, monitoring, and post infusion recovery under RN and provider supervision
- Obtain vital signs and perform patient safety checks before, during, and after infusions
- Provide compassionate patient support and reassurance throughout treatment
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Assist with front desk operations including patient check in, scheduling, and insurance verification
- Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and direct clinical concerns appropriately
- Assist with chart preparation, documentation, and coordination with providers and nursing staff
- Support the lead RN with daily clinic flow and operational needs
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols, REMS documentation, and infection control standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- IV certification required
- Strong clinical skills with attention to detail and patient safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working in a fast paced clinical environment
- Ability to multitask between clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Professional, reliable, and team oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in infusion therapy, procedural nursing, or behavioral health
- Experience with electronic health records
- Front desk or medical office administrative experience
- Interest in mental health and interventional psychiatry
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule will primarily align with ketamine infusion clinic hours, with daytime shifts expected. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
