Overview
Graceful Growth is an independent Behavior Analytic contracting company that works with schools in Wayne County. We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician who wants to advance in the field of ABA and has a real desire to make lasting change. The Behavior Technician will work closely with students ages 3-17 in the school setting on an as-needed basis. This is a contract (1099) position that provides job flexibility. Some hours may be worked from home completing data analysis but most will be on-site providing ABA therapy. This position will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement the Behavior Intervention Plans and teach new skills. The Behavior Specialist can work anywhere between 5-20 hours a week, as they choose. More hours might be negotiated based on work performance. Preference will be given to BCBAs-in-training who need supervision. Supervision is provided for free with the job position.
Responsibilities
- Implement skill acquisition programs and replacement behavior programs at least weekly with all clients in the school setting.
- Collaborate with/train teachers and para assistants in how to implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), data collection methods, de-escalation strategies for target behaviors, and in reinforcement strategies.
- Monitor data collected by paraprofessional staff and graph and analyze weekly.
- Communicate and work with the supervising BCBA to develop and oversee Behavior Intervention Plans and their implementations.
Requirements
- At least 1-year of experience OR some education with Applied Behavior Analysis is required.
- Knowledge of data collection methods, graphing, and effective training practices.
- Registered Behavior Technician certification (preferred)
- Intending to begin BCBA fieldwork or currently in fieldwork (preferred).

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
