Position Summary
As a Licensed Family Therapist, you will play an integral role in supporting children and their caregivers through therapeutic assessment, family intervention, and collaborative treatment planning. Working closely with our BCBAs and clinical leadership, you will conduct intake assessments, provide family therapy and psychoeducation, facilitate family group sessions, and contribute to individualized treatment planning that promotes lasting, meaningful change.

Core Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including psychosocial and family systems evaluations, to inform treatment planning.
- Provide individual, family, and caregiver therapy using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each family's needs.
- Facilitate family group sessions focused on caregiver education, communication, problem-solving, and skill development.
- Collaborate closely with BCBAs to develop and integrate behavioral and mental health goals within each client's treatment plan and the clinic's treatment management platform.
- Provide clinical consultation to the interdisciplinary team regarding family dynamics, emotional and behavioral concerns, and barriers to treatment engagement.
- Support caregivers in implementing effective strategies that promote treatment generalization and long-term success across home and community settings.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, licensing, payer, and organizational standards while maintaining a family-centered, trauma-informed approach to care.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license in Georgia as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or other independently licensed mental health professional.
- Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families.
- Strong understanding of family systems, child development, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary healthcare or behavioral health teams preferred.
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, or ABA services is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
