Our RN Supervisors support the culture of McHarrie life by:
- Supervises assigned personnel to ensure that nursing care services are being provided in accordance with regulations, policies, procedures, and good practice, and are effectively meeting the needs of the residents.
- Meets with staff under his/her supervision, on a regular basis, to communicate facility information, to identify and correct problem areas and to improve nursing services.

- Attends, participates in and completes all mandatory in-service education/training as required by the facility and state regulations.
- Assists the Director of Nursing in making any necessary adjustments in nursing operations.
Required qualities for successful RN Supervisors:
- A current and valid NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum four years' experience, with at least two years of experience in a nursing leadership role; minimum of one year experience in a long term care facility preferred.
- Broad knowledge of nursing, including, and understanding of the aging process and the psychosocial/physical care needs of the elderly and disabled.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
