POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Support Technician is a key part of our finishing and operations team, ensuring that every vehicle is thoroughly detailed, properly prepared, and ready before it leaves our floor. This role goes beyond detailing, it is a true utility position that also supports warehouse operations including boxing and packaging of finished goods, as well as porter duties that include moving vehicles around the facility and running local parts and supply pickups several times per week.
This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, and is eager to contribute across multiple areas of a hands-on manufacturing team. No prior detailing or manufacturing experience is required; we will train the right person.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESDetailing & Final Finish
- Perform thorough interior and exterior detailing on finished vans, trailers, and specialty vehicles prior to delivery
- Wash, wipe down, and clean all exterior surfaces including glass, panels, doors, and undercarriage areas
- Vacuum and clean interior compartments, cabinets, floors, and equipment bays
- Inspect units during and after detailing to identify any areas requiring additional attention or touch-up
- Remove stickers, adhesive residue, protective film, and construction debris from finished units
- Operate detailing equipment including buffers, pressure washers, vacuums, and steamers safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and properly store all tools, chemicals, and supplies after use
Warehouse & Production Support
- Oversee the boxing, packaging, and preparation of finished goods for shipment
- Assist warehouse team with loading, organizing, and staging completed units and components
- Help maintain general cleanliness and organization throughout the production and warehouse facility
- Provide flexible support to other production, assembly, or finishing areas as business needs require
- Monitor point-of-use inventory to ensure key items stay stocked
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and Pelsue standard operating procedures at all times
Porter & Parts Support
- Move and reposition vehicles between areas of the facility and lot to support production flow and staging
- Transport finished units between internal locations as directed by production or warehouse leadership
- Run local parts and supply pickups from vendors and suppliers several times per week as directed
- Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all applicable traffic laws and Pelsue vehicle use policies
- Conduct basic pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any damage or mechanical concerns

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Valid driver’s license required; must possess and maintain a clean driving record and be insurable under Pelsue’s company vehicle insurance policy
- Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check as a condition of employment
Preferred (Not Required)
- Prior experience in detailing, vehicle maintenance, cleaning, or a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with hand tools or production equipment
- Experience operating large vans, box trucks, or towed trailers
- Forklift or pallet jack experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires prolonged periods of standing and walking for the duration of an 8-hour shift. Employees must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead on a frequent basis. Lifting of up to 50 lbs is required on an occasional basis; team lifts are expected for heavier loads. Work is performed primarily indoors in a manufacturing shop environment with some outdoor exposure during vehicle staging and lot movement. Employees will be regularly exposed to cleaning agents, chemical solvents, and moving vehicles and equipment, and must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times as required. Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
