Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Team Shift Lead to oversee daily operations within a fast-paced, quick service or casual dining environment. As a key leader on the floor, you will manage team members, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain smooth restaurant functions. Duties

Lead and supervise team members during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery

Oversee food preparation and food handling processes to meet safety and quality standards

Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling

Coordinate inventory control, monitor stock levels, and assist with food production and food management tasks

Train new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team skills in customer service, food safety, and restaurant operations

Ensure adherence to health regulations, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols across all areas of the restaurant

Support shift management responsibilities including scheduling, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining a positive work environment
Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service management within quick service or casual dining settings

Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in a restaurant environment

Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; capable of cash handling and transaction reconciliation

Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence

Ability to train staff effectively in food safety, food handling, and operational procedures

Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes

Exceptional communication skills with experience in interviewing, staff training & development, and team management
