Konexus360 alongside a reputable OBGYN practice to find a skilled Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have clinical MA/Phlebotomy experience and a passion for women’s health. What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist healthcare providers in specialties like OBGYN, medical-surgical, dermatology, hospital medicine, and urgent care – no two days are the same!
- Perform key clinical tasks such as taking patient vitals, administering injections, and assisting with minor procedures.
- Comfortably perform basic medical procedures, including phlebotomy.
- Use electronic health records (EHR) to keep patient information up-to-date and accurate.
- Carry out X-Ray procedures under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and preventative care.
- Maintain an organized and clean medical environment.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and privacy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Comfort and skill with basic medical procedures and phlebotomy (blood draws).
- Experience with medical equipment like X-Ray machines and inhalers is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Prior experience in a medical office or clinic is a plus, but not required.
