The Mechanical Engineer II will lead complex mechanical engineering projects, from design through implementation. This role involves high-level technical decision-making, as well as mentoring and overseeing junior and mid-level engineers. The Mechanical Engineer III will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced mechanical systems and products.
- Oversee and manage large-scale engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Provide high-level technical expertise and strategic direction on engineering challenges.
- Conduct advanced simulations, testing, and analysis to optimize designs for performance and reliability.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, designs, and prototypes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (electrical, software, manufacturing) and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers) to ensure project success.
- Mentor and train junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance on best practices and design techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in mechanical engineering and contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project leadership.
- Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- In-depth knowledge of advanced mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing techniques.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Experience in regulatory compliance and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
