Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Box Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves transporting merchandise from our warehouse to distributors throughout California and picking up products from our vendors.
Duties
- Pick up merchandise from our warehouse for scheduled deliveries.
- Deliver products to distributors in California.
- Pick up merchandise from vendors located in Los Angeles area.
- Safely load, transport, and unload merchandise.
- Follow established routes while complying with traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning of brakes, lights, tires, and other essential components.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and route activities in accordance with safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with customers during pickups and drop-offs to ensure excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and state transportation rules governing commercial vehicle operation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads safely during loading/unloading processes.
- Experience with manual transmissions preferred but not required; familiarity with automatic transmissions is a plus.
- Overnight stay in Los Angeles( hotel accommodation and meal allowance provided by company).
- Home every weekend.
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
