Great Valley School District's 5/6 Center seeking innovative, dedicated and compassionate Elementary Teachers to join our team. The successful candidates will have a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and critical thinking. The roles involve teaching core subjects to students in grades 5 and 6, while integrating technology and differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with PA state standards and district curriculum
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, staff, and administration and to enhance
instructional practices and promote a positive learning environment
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into daily instruction
- Support students' social-emotional development and classroom behavior management
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation
Qualifications
- Pennsylvania Elementary certification (Grades 4-8 or K-6) required
- Bachelor's degree in education, or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with diverse learners and differentiated instruction
- Commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration
