Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sailboat Rigger to join our team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the inspection, repair, and replacement of both standing and running rigging, installation and servicing of mast-mounted electronics, and maintenance of various other sailboat components.
This position regularly requires working aloft on sailboat masts; therefore, comfort with heights and a strong sense of safety are essential.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
· Inspecting, repairing, and replacing both standing and running sailboat rigging
· Installing and servicing mast-mounted electronics
· Performing maintenance on various sailboat components
· Taking precise measurements and using appropriate tools to ensure rigging meets specifications
· Regularly working aloft on masts; comfort with heights is essential
Qualifications:
· Experience with sailboat rigging is REQUIRED
· Proficiency in accurate measurement techniques and use of tools such as tape measures, calipers, and tension gauges
· Ability to work safely at height and in varying marine conditions
· Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
