About Huddle Sitters
Huddle is a Seattle-based app that makes coordinating babysitters easier for parents who already have a trusted circle — think less "post in the Facebook group and hope for the best," more "your people, organized in one place." We're early-stage and growing fast, which means this role has real impact from day one.
The Role
We're looking for a social media manager who can build and run Huddle's content presence with minimal hand-holding. You'll own the content calendar, create short-form video and static content, grow our community of Seattle parents and sitters, and help us tell the story of what makes Huddle different from every other babysitting app. This is a scrappy, creative, high-ownership role — not a "schedule posts and report metrics" one.
What You'll Do
- Own the content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook — ideating, producing, and posting consistently
- Create short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) that captures real parent and sitter stories, not polished brand fluff
- Manage our sitter ambassador program — coordinating UGC, testimonials, and social sharing from our early sitter community
- Engage authentically in Seattle parent communities online (Facebook groups, local forums) without being spammy
- Write copy that matches Huddle's voice: warm, direct, no corporate filler
What We're Looking For
- You've run social for a consumer app, local brand, or community-driven product — you know the difference between content that performs and content that just fills a grid
- Short-form video is your native language. You can shoot, edit, and post a Reel without a production team
- You're a strong writer. Copy isn't an afterthought for you — it's where the differentiation lives
- You're comfortable being the first person in the room to build something from scratch
- Bonus: you know the Seattle parent community, or have worked in childcare, family, or parenting-adjacent spaces
Compensation
Paid, rate commensurate with experience. Flexible hours, remote-friendly.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
