The position is also responsible for coordinating student registration and enrollment, maintaining accurate student information and records, and supporting the integrity of the district's student data systems. This position serves as a key point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors and requires the ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and positive interpersonal relationships at all times. Responsibilities: Coordinate the student registration and enrollment process for new and returning students, including receiving and reviewing registration documents, verifying residency and required records, communicating with families, and ensuring timely enrollment in accordance with district policies and state requirements.Maintain the accuracy and integrity of student information within the district's student information system by entering, updating, verifying, and auditing student demographic, enrollment, scheduling, custody, residency, and other student data to ensure compliance with state reporting requirements and district procedures.Prepare, process, and maintain student records, including cumulative files, transfer records, withdrawals, requests for records, and other enrollment documentation, while ensuring compliance with FERPA and district confidentiality requirements.Assist families with registration, enrollment, and student information updates, serving as a knowledgeable resource regarding required documentation, residency requirements, and district enrollment procedures.Serve as one of the school's receptionists, managing the front entrance and monitoring visitor access in accordance with school safety and security procedures.Greet, assist, and direct students, families, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.Answer and direct incoming telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to inquiries from students, families, staff, and community members.Utilize the districts student information system to maintain/update attendance records, process student absences, code attendance data, and assist with attendance-related communications.Provide clerical support to faculty and staff, including photocopying, filing, scanning, data entry, preparation of materials, and other office-related tasks.Maintain accurate records and assist with the organization and management of office files, documents, and correspondence.Provide administrative support to the School Nurse, including the collection, organization, and maintenance of student health records, medical forms, and related documentation.Assist the School Nurse with communication regarding health records, immunization requirements, physical examinations, and other health-related documentation while maintaining strict confidentiality.Provide administrative support to the Athletic Director for middle and high school athletic programs.Maintain athletic records and assist with the collection, review, and tracking of required athletic participation forms, including physical examinations, medical documentation, and eligibility paperwork.Demonstrate working knowledge and experience with RIIL procedures, requirements, and online management systems used for athletic participation and eligibility.Assist with monitoring and maintaining academic eligibility records for student-athletes in accordance with district and RIIL requirements.Communicate effectively with students, families, coaches, staff, medical providers, and community organizations regarding athletic and health-related matters.Maintain confidential student, medical, personnel, and athletic information in compliance with district policies and applicable state and federal regulations.Assist with scheduling, organizing, and maintaining systems that support the efficient operation of the Main Office, Health Office, and Athletic Department.Cover office responsibilities in the absence of other office personnel as assigned.Perform any and all other related duties assigned by the Building Principal or designee.Clerks with ParaPro Certification may also be assigned additional duties, including but not limited to morning and afternoon bus duties, cafeteria duty, hallway supervision, and other student supervision responsibilities.M-F 7:15 to 2:15Equal Employment OpportunityThe Scituate School Department does not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, race, religion, national origin, color, creed, political affiliation, or disability in any of its educational programs, activities, or employment practices.For inquiries regarding non-discrimination policies, contact: Equal Employment Officer P.O.
