American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulating RN for an Ambulatory Surgery Center position in Lexington, KY, requiring a valid KY or compact RN license and prior OR circulating experience.

Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting within a General Surgery department
-
Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday (5x8s), with the ability to leave when cases are completed for the day

32–40 hours per week

OR circulating experience is required for this role

Previous ASC experience is preferred

Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

OR circulating experience required

ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred

Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety measures
-
Candidates must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementing nursing interventions, and coordinating discharge activities within the ASC surgical services environment
-
Nursing practice is evidence-based and aligned with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines

Delegates tasks appropriately and monitors the accuracy of delegated care provided by other team members

Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, falls prevention, and documentation auditing
-
Collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient- and family-centered care
