Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage beverage service including cocktail preparation, wine pouring, and spirits knowledge to elevate guest experiences
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
- Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Utilize reservation platforms: RESY to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems , TOAST
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales efficiently
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and processing payments accurately
- Experience with reservation systems like RESY is preferred
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential

Pay: $26.54 - $31.96 per hour
