This full-time position (35 hours/week) seeks motivated Speech-Language Pathologists eager to provide clinical expertise across diverse caseloads. You’ll join a collaborative, student-focused environment where professional growth, teamwork, and meaningful change are valued daily.
As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll offer direct services and consultation for students from preschool through middle school. Buffalo Creek Middle School features two low cognitive and one behavior unit, supporting approximately 50 students in direct therapy and 10 on consult. The campus is energized by a dynamic new principal and a welcoming atmosphere. At Prine Elementary, you’ll collaborate with a seasoned SLP and an outstanding SLPA to serve a varied group of early learners—including intensive, integrated, and ASD prekindergarten classes and low cognitive support groups. The school’s initial caseload spans around 95 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Florida SLP license required
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) will also be considered
- Experience in a school-based SLP setting strongly preferred
- Solid communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work on-site and engage hands-on with school teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and consultation as outlined in IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Deliver services across a range of student needs: behavioral, cognitive, ASD, PK, and integrated classes
- Foster positive relationships with staff and families
