Human Resources Generalist
Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. is looking for a talented Human Resources Generalist to step into our fast-paced organization!
Summary: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations.
Hours: This is a full-time position.
Position Responsibilities/Duties:

Update HRIS database records and process paperwork for new hires, terminations and other status changes.

Assist with or prepare correspondence by answering employee requests and questions.

Assist with processing of Leave of Absences under ADA, NJFLA and FMLA
-
Manage password resets and data input for all HRIS systems

Conduct audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommend any corrective action.

Assist with Performance Reviews, Open Enrollment and employee relations/engagement activities
-
Administrative tasks such as performing background checks, filing paperwork, completing employee documentation, recording data on each current employee; maintaining and filing paperwork of terminated or exiting employees

Assist with maintenance, tracking and credentialing of staff credentials and employee health initiatives

Assist with recruitment activities and employee onboarding
-
Assist with employee orientation activities including managing schedules and conducting in-person orientation

Assist with the implementation and configuration of a HRIS conversion
-
Assist HR department with various research projects and/or special projects
-
All other duties as assigned to meet departmental and organizational needs
Experience and Skills:-
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred

Minimum of 1-4 years of experience working within Human Resources or similar role

Effective problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer

Competent keyboard skills to produce accurate and well presented data

Able to present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets
-
Ability to speak, write and read English
-
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
-
Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines
-
Proficiency in computer programs for documentation and presentation
-
Excellent organizational skills
-
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with different levels within the organization
-
Excellent computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and HRIS applications

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel
