We are looking for a dependable Low Voltage Wiring Technician located in or near Worcester, Massachusetts.
This position will begin as part-time work based on current project and service needs, with the potential to develop into a full-time position as our workload in Massachusetts continues to grow.
The technician will generally work at customer locations within approximately a one- to two-hour driving radius of Worcester. Candidates must be comfortable traveling throughout Central Massachusetts and into surrounding areas as needed.
This may be a good opportunity for an experienced technician looking for additional steady work, or for someone interested in building a long-term position with a growing company.
We are an established low-voltage electronics integration company serving commercial, healthcare, multi-family, and institutional facilities. Our technicians work with a variety of systems, including:
- Access control
- Audio/visual systems
- CCTV and video surveillance
- Data and network cabling
- Fire alarm systems
- Intercom and public-address systems
- Nurse call and healthcare communication systems
- Security and intrusion systems
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Responding to service calls and troubleshooting system issues
- Installing and terminating low-voltage wiring
- Installing devices, panels, equipment, and related hardware
- Testing, repairing, and replacing low-voltage devices and components
- Reading project drawings, blueprints, and system specifications
- Clearly documenting completed work and service findings
- Communicating with project managers, customers, and other technicians
- Working independently at customer locations
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work area
The position may include both scheduled installation projects and service calls at existing customer facilities.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous hands-on low-voltage wiring, installation, or service experience
- Experience with one or more of the systems listed above
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work independently and complete assigned work reliably
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to read blueprints and system specifications, or a willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- The ability and willingness to travel approximately one to two hours from the Worcester area
- A professional attitude when working in occupied commercial and healthcare facilities
Fire alarm, access control, security, nurse call, and broader low-voltage experience are preferred, but we are open to candidates with different skill levels who are dependable and interested in growing with the company.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
