Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of desserts, including dipped treats, whipped toppings, and specialty confections with precision and care
- Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and assisting with selections
- Upsell products to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment to ensure food safety compliance
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure all food handling procedures meet sanitation guidelines
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such for efficient sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to engage guests effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy hours seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Previous experience in retail or grocery store settings is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
