Commercial window coverings business located in Vancouver, WA is looking for reliable and responsible individuals for a growing business.
You must be able to physically perform the work; lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding. You will need to be very comfortable with heights.
You must be able to operate power tools; drills, power saws, routers, etc. and be able to read and take measurements accurately. The ability to read blueprints would be a plus, but not a requirement.
The company will provide all the tools you will need, along with training and certification when it is needed. Prior experience is not required, but would be a plus.
Personal Protection Equipment is required on job sites. You will need to wear jeans / work pants, work boots, safety glasses, and company provided high visibility shirts.
If you have the willingness to learn new things, are flexible with a “Can-Do” attitude, take initiative, think on your feet and have common sense, then you will be a great fit here!
Base wage depending on experience ranges from $19 – $21 an hour to start. This is a 90-day temp to hire position with a possible raise after approx. 3 months. Many of the jobs at this time will be prevailing wage, ranging from $27-$83/hour.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a good driving record and be able to be insured on our company Auto Coverage.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug tests in the future.
This position requires working out of town overnight at times.
