Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware efficiently
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support meal preparation for various service periods, including catering events if applicable
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and waste is minimized through proper disposal practices
- Using POS systems as needed for orders
- Serving Ice Cream as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Fine dining or culinary experience can provide valuable skills for high-quality food presentation and service standards
- Strong knife skills, food handling expertise, and understanding of food safety regulations are highly desirable
- Experience in catering or serving can contribute to a well-rounded understanding of customer needs and service flow
